I had lots lots of fans. But that temps or yours is normal I think. What's your ambient temp? mine is ~70-75 F.

TRy to lap the heatsink and use artic silver 5. It should drop your temp a lot (5-10* C). Also, I don't like thermaltake HS, try to get some thermalright, they really do work. Try the ducting method too, it drops my temp like ~3-5 degrees celcius.

I would check to see if you have any programs running in the background;
ie did you install any new antivirus's etc.

Maybe check if you have any spyware...

I know that if I open a few programs, the temperature rises 3-5 degrees.

What motherboard are you running and what are you using to read the temps?

Check to see if fan filters are clogged.

I honestly think adding another 80mm would help much.

And lastly, the weather outside and in the room also affect the temps...

I have a hardware monitor that came with my Soyo motherboard. I'm going to get a couple more fans and use some of that Arctic Silver paste sitting in my drawer. Then I may get naughty with the bios. :rick:

could just be the ambient temperature rising. That's why mine is running hot right now.

it's pretty warm in my room and my CPU is pretty hot.

Exactly.

I had to go down on my OC this summer...

AS5 is good, but use sparingly.
