Default Wireless Woes! Need Help!

So i have this notebook of mine and it won't connect to my router. And in the off chance that it does it won't let me surf. I have WEP enabled and the key is also on the laptop. However it just connect to the wireless connection and it's been pissing the shit outta me for the past 2 hours.
