Default Corey needs new tires now...

Well. My original plan was to wait until november and put snow tires on my current rims but this is not going to be possible now--my right passenger (front) tire won't hold much air anymore. Poopy. And I wanted to get new rims in spring. Looks like I'll have to wait.

Anyway. I want myselves some radials because I can't be TOO inadequate in the snow. What should I look at? No I cannot shop online--I need them this weekend. I already have the local car board giving me advice on where to go

No, I wanted to put on snow tires. This isn't going to happen. I'm looking for radials.

www.tirerack.com

look up your tire size and see what they have. They have a great rating system. This way you can compare different tires and see what is out there.

Then go to a tire shop and get what you want. If they do not have it they can order it and usually have them the next day for you if they are a good shop.

I never go to a tire store without knowing what tires I want. They will push whatever tires that they are overstocked in to reduce your inventory even though they may not meet your needs.

Go there prepared and you'll come away happy

if it snows enough to require snow tires, then stick with snow tires for winter.

Nokian Hakkapilitas. You will never get stuck. I have them on my Accord during the winter and go through all hell with them.

PS - Those rims suck h:

I'm thinking about just putting one of the two tires on my current wheels, and buring seperate winter/steelies for winter. I really really really have a bad drive to school in the winter. In the middle of no where--the wind picks up and, well, it's horrible.
