Today my dad got some new cheap shitty all seasons for his '97 Odyssey and I was drivng it home and I go around a corner very slighty fast, so that passengers might not even notice, and they start to squeal. I was like :wtf:. I thought that it couldn't be this car, but it happened again. And I was accelerating from a stop with maybe 1/2 throttle and they squealed again. These tires really suck. I look at the treadwear and it is 620! These tires can cut diamonds. Isn't anything over 100 not even competetive for autocross? My parents don't care though, but I'd be nervous driving of something with such poor traction, they aren't even A temperature rated. My CRX has 300's and I consider them pretty shitty as far as traction goes. That's what you get for $65 a piece I guess. :exnbp:.

what did you expect? they are new tires. even summer compound tires will make noise when they are brand new.

it's from the release compound they use at the factory.

but my dads all seasons for the camry (160 all four installed) squel like crazy.

 

The front ones too and those have 3000 miles on them .
I just never pushed it hard before with either set of new tires.

Oon a side note, stock CRX tires DO NOT get traction in soft sand. h:

 

check the air pressure and don't drive so fast if you know they are going to be so noisy. simple solution.
