heh, that's no surprise. the village probably holds some of the most liberal people on the planet. however, my brother works down by wall st. and he said he hasn't seen any kind of protesting yet, although he has seen a lot of police activity.

I think you're right about the political climate in the village, but I got the sense that these protestors were in from out-of-town.

I wouldn't expect much activity down by Wall Street. For one thing, the streets are just tiny down there. Have you been? People would get crushed by the mob. The people I saw over the weekend were outside St. Marks church, which is on 2nd Avenue. There is MUCH more space there as well as a lot more traffic going through, particularly since they closed the 14th street exit on the FDR drive. People have to drive down 2nd Avenue to get anywhere between 23rd street and Houston.

no news agency is really fair. I'll never take anything CNN says seriously when it comes to politics. you may not want to admit it, but every news agency in the world looks at Drudge every day. they might slam him but he's got some some credibility. over 2 billion hits a year and his site is on the top 10 for surfed sites. that means something.

That as well as people being in the entertainment industry are usually much more liberal. Hence why I am so shocked they got booed. I am very pleasantly supprised :chuckles:
