Anybody have Vonage?
I am about to order a kit online for my apartment since my new Blackberry has $hitty service in here. If you're not familar with Vonage, it works by using your Cable Modem to provide your phone connection. I am going with the $24.99 unlimited local calls and 500min of long distance calls. For an additional $5, you can have unlimited local and unlimited long distance within the US.
It has some really cool features also like voice mail notification. You can configure it to email you when you have new voicemail.
If you travel and want to another state and want people to still be able to call you, just take the box with you and plug it into a broadband connection and your number follows. You could be in Cali and still have a Virginia phone number for example so people calling from Virginia aren't dialing long distance.
