specifique drive with xp

Default specifique drive with xp

anyone here knows if there is a way to open a specific drive that doesnt show up in "my computer" in XP? My Pc at work is very limited, and i need the email notifier which i can configure but i need to acces drive D: dont know how cause it doesnt show up in "my computer" and i cant just type it in the address bar, it wont work! any ideas?

Open up your control panel and check to see what drives you have running.

there is only mouse, display and keyboard in control panel... and sorry, language thing again, you all should learn french it would be easyer for me!! hehe

Bonjour. It seems as if your IT people gave you a limited amount of resources on your computer. What is this Drive D:? Is it a local harddrive? Harddrive on the server? CD-ROM?

from what i could see its a local hard drive... yeah i dont think they want me to go in that drive...

call your admin for access. you won't be able to access that.

How did you come to the conclusion that it's a local drive? What is in the drive that you need?

Right click MY COMPUTER, and go to MANAGE. Then find STORAGE - DISK MANAGEMENT.

Do you see it there?

try go to start->programs->and on one of the program folders right click explore
you should see everything but still not have access to cmd prompt or some ctrl panel items if they have been disabled
