Wednesday night we got a bunch of feeder fish for my 7 piranhas in my 55 gallon tank. well, i wake up thursday morning, and 6 of them are floating upside down, theres chunks of half eaten goldfish everywhere, and the water smells like shit.

We think that the fish were diseased, i did manage to rescue the smallest piranha (about3.5 inches long) and get him in my smaller tank. They were almost a year old, the biggest ones were over 4 inches.

yes, i sure did, and for punishment, i flushed the rest of the feeder fish too

can you get the store that you bought the feeder fish from to replace them?

 

you mean get replacement feeder fish? i dont want any of their tainted fish.

i doubt they'd do that, they probably dont ensure their feeder fish to be disease free, but maybe i'll ask.

 

You should probably complain to the store where you got the feeder fish.

nooooo, the fish you bough from them killed your other fish. It's like buying dog food and it kills your dog. just not right.
