Exactly, if they're going by the factors Nightshade just said, then how can the 96-00 (01 is 7th gen) Civic be left off completely?

Go on, explain how an R34 Skyline GT-R should be rated higher than an EG Civic Si by those standards.

yeah, but off the list completely? With a 84-86 Dodge Omni GLH, a 03-Present Hyundia Tiburon, and a 94-00 Mitsubishi FTO on the list, and many more, I don't quite understand how they came to that...Yeah its less popular, but they're EVERYWHERE.

I didn't write the list and if I had it would look much different then theirs.

You will note that they themselves said they took no particular approach to creating the list and some cars were on there simply because they were cool...not much to explain, people have some strange tastes:dunno:

Might want to write them an email about it I am sure they are going to receive thousands for other cars not on the list or ranked amazingly low on the list etc.

that list is a bunch of bs.

These cars are "...that moved the movement and continue to influence it..."

yeah an 04 elise really influenced the industry of sport compacts. consider it jsut been released and not that many in production. really influenced. yes great car, but huge influence on the industry? no, i do not agree.

43. 04-Present VW R32 THAT INFLUENCED MORE THAN A 91-95 MR2 TURBO?! WTF?!
66. 96-01 Audi A4 Is that even a sport compact?
85. 67-72 Mazda Cosmo Sport. Have they even drivin' one? Are they even that old? Oh yeah I forgot they also go by cool. But it's cool enough that it influenced the industry more than the 88-91 rx7 above it.

Truely retarded list.

The Cosmo was the predecessor to the RX-7 and led to the Mazda Rotary eXperiment 7 being developed
