Workout guys..!! Come in here!
Help. :happysad: im new to this "keeping in shape" mumbo jumbo...so i need help. I never worked out before because, frankly i didnt need to (except for the health factor
h: ) Now that i'm out of HS and sitting on my ass because of not having a job...and i'm getting older...shits catching up to me. So before it gets out of hand, i want to do something about it.
My main issues are my legs, abs and glutes. Brett gave me a few ideas for abs...and i just tried the leg lifts and almost cried. I have a VERY bad back, and that hurt like a bitch!
All i want to do is tone. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated...keeping in mind that i'm COMPLETELY out of shape and have a bad back.

Go to the health club and do the stair stepper machine. I ride the stationary bike at the gym at school which just so happens to be located behind the stair stepper machines, and what I see from that angle is generally good.

"all girls get fat in their 20's..." :chuckles:
hanging leg raises are easier on the back, but difficult to do at home unless you've got a machine for it.
Most importantly for someone who wants to just "tone" or "shape up" is cardio. It's good for your heart too.

you may have a good metabolism now, but trust me it'll catch up with you if you don't start doing some cardio.
