I am not gonna debate schools with ya
It ranked 77/100 for the program, one of the worst in the country. If you think LC is a good school, I would be afraid to ask your opinion on harvard/yale/stanford/nyu/columbia and such places. It is all relative, heck some people think Toyota Echo's are race cars.
Anyways, nice seeing your around bro.

Comparing LC to an ivy league school is apples to oranges, but since you find doing so appropriate, I won't stop myself from doing it either. The school's atmosphere and philosophy is much different than those of you mentioned...I mean, its got like ~1,700 students. It has a princton review academic rating of 95, which is higher than Yale (94), MIT (94), NYU (86), Harvard (94), Columbia (94), UCLA (74), and is only one point lower than both Stanford and Princeton (both at 96).
Don't try to insult my intelligence if you don't know what you're talking about. I mean, it doesn't have in state tuition of 26k a year for nothing.

You bro, we are cool. Why would I question your intelligence? I am sorry if my post came across taht way, but that is certainly not what I meant. The subject my friend is going there for (grad school), its ranked one of the lowest in the country. He did very poorly in the entrance exam, and he got accepted to 2 schools out of the 31 he applied to.
As far as tuition, $ doesnt mean anything when it comes to tuition. South Western law school and University of San Deigo has tuition of about 30K a year +/- and they are ranked VERY low in the US news rankings (I mean really dumb people go here), and other schools in the top 20 are charging 12-15K in tuition. Just saying $ doesn't mean quality.
I am gonna stop here, before I come of sounding like an elitist. I have spent much time in OR, and know enough about the field of study, to make my judgements.
If you read carefully, I said, the field of study my friend was going for.
You have your opinions, and I have mine.
Nontheless, this argument is not worth either of our time, as the thread is about me getting in touch with my old buddies, which I consider you one.
