it's not just R&D which can make the difference between failed seat in an accident and you ending up in a wheel chair or worse, but also the quality of materials used and workmanship.
my 3 year old used recaro still looked brand new when i got them and i expect them to last another 10 years.

you can get fricken carbueo or however u spell it for like 100 ea. seat.
you can also get the cheapest sparcos for about 200$ each seat. w/o rails
but, anyways i paid for 540$ each for my fighters, and love them. wear spots in good spots and nice lightweight seat.
but its your call and your money. dont waste money on reclinables either. u don't need em in a sol.
