now that I think back... I think it was more like 3.5 -4 weeks till I was able to eat solid food.
But it still stands, if I knew how much of a relief it was I'd do it again tomorrow!

I had 5, all impacted. I hurt for days after, was still eating macaronni and cheese for a week. Hydrocodine was like candy for me and it still hurt, but I saw all kinds of cool things :loco:
Anyway, it was rough. The worst part was the first 48 hours having to change the bandages every 30mins and such. And not being able to eat solid food for like 2 weeks.
I was out cold for a good hour and a half. It seemed like one min I was checking out the nurse ( :rick: ) and the next min I was asleep, next min I had the old doctor guy looking me in the face saying "aww here he comes, he's waking up now!" It seemed like no time at all, they put me way under
The 3 that were in the top were actually up into my sinues... so for about 4-5 months (yes months) I had holes between my mouth and sinuses. It was weird, breathing and feeling it going through these holes in the back of my mouth, never felt cool air in those spots. The worst part about it was the ... leakage. Yea, it's nasty. :barf:
But after all I went through, all the pain, all the suffering. It was a horrible experiance really but I toughed it out and let mother nature heal me up, took quite some time... but to actually be able to stand up and move quickly without getting a headache... I'd do it all over again if I had to. I used to get headaches from everything, loud noises, sudden movements, anything that would cause blood presure to increase especially in my head I'd get a headache from. It was hell, I was on a constant diet of advil at some points... they are gone. It's amazing, I can do things now that I couldn't before, noone thought it was because my wisdom teeth were so bad. They treated me for all kinds of things, it was the teeth. If I knew that I would have had them out years ago!
Go Chank! You can do it!!!!

I think it was like $1,000 for me, don't remember the copay. Anethesia was $300 alone.
I got mine out last Thursday. They had to break the tooth and jaw on two of them, that's what hurts the most afterwards.
I've been eating solid food since Monday
.
Get it done by an Oral Surgeon, if you don't you will regret it.
I also only used guaze for 3 hours after the surgery.
If you have any other questions let me know.

not true. I had mine done by my dentist, and they had to break 2 of the three teeth I had pulled. Very minimal pain.
