Default Monitors

Looks like its time to upgrade the monitor again.

Any reccomendations?

I am looking for a 19" or larger CRT monitor with a good price/color/refresh etc. NO FLAT PANEL LCD SCREENS AT ALL!!! A true flat would be nice but not completely neccesary either.

Go

I got this same monitor about 2 years ago, new on ebay for $300 shipped. It's a great monitor, I'd get another.

With viewsonic, go with the G or P series. The E is their Economy line, they are better than the average econo line monitor, but the G and P really step it up in quality.

edit: ok, now I do remember my only complaint with the design. The signal cable is hard wired into the back, it's not easily replaceable if something happens or you want a better one.

Appreture grill design, runs everything I want at 1280x1024 and bright as I need it to be. I've been really happy with it.
