mini... thoughts? It's $250 and is said to hold 1000 songs... anything out there better without all the hype or price tag?

Iriver is better IMO.

I have used the Ipod... I seem to be in the minority, but I did not like it at all. I'd rather run it over than use it. Lots of people seem to like them, kinda like a fad thing right now... but I can't stand them. Didn't like the interface or the way thigns worked.

At first I was like... "what's a 'wif'?" :loco:

I think they have a 40gb one that holds 5000 songs now. But... I think the 1000 one would be fine.. unless she's a music freak. They look fun though. The radio in my car plays MP3 CDs... I lub it.

I don't think she'd know what to do with 1000 songs as it is. I know there's a whole bunch of accessories and crap out there for the iPods. What's the price and specs on the Iriver, click?

I love my iPod... I've had a first gen since the first week they were out, and it's still holding up to my abuse in style

I'm getting a silver ipod mini for my b-day...I keep getting told to get a larger capacity one...but I think 1,000 songs is enough for me.

I've used one before and I thought the interface was the slickest feature about it. No other anything has anything like it. :chuckles:
