Definition is the same, you're right. But it is known that a masseuse gives or may give a happy ending, whereas a massage therapist won't.

Contrary to belief, she doesn't make me say anything. I'm just posting things I have heard from people in the massage therapy business, Mandi included.

 

IN SCHOOL...where you learn how to be a CERTIFIED MASSAGE THERAPIST...you are taught that a masseuse is a woman who gives massages in a parlor or who gives more than a therapeutic massage. We used to be called masseuses but, because we're trying to be looked at as bettering the well-being and health of people, we needed a more appropriate name.

I am not a masseuse and i do not give "happy endings". I went to school and learned about the anatomy of the entire body...all the muscles, the bones, the systems and pathogens, and i learned the protocals for a therapuetic massage. I have a code of ethics that i strickly follow. I'm a massage therapist and i give massages to relax and help maintain homeostatis between the mind, body and soul, as well as helping the body to recover from injury.

I don't appreciate the comments and the remarks regarding the prostitution massage and would really appreciate it you all could refrain from it.

you should copy that to a word file and just save it...bring it up whenever you need it and just copy/paste
