just use common sense, obviously 80 grit is too harsh, 1500 grit is too fine so try 220-320 and wet sand.

depends on how deep it is... if it's just on the lip, you don't have to worry too much about it. since they are black, the rash will show... so if its realy deep, start with a rougher grit like 300 then work up to 1500.

Oh yea... what he said ^^^ wetsand it.
