This thread reminds me of that one on VWVortex where that person asked how to remove a small scratch and they told him to buff it out with 80 grit sandpaper :lmfao:

just use common sense, obviously 80 grit is too harsh, 1500 grit is too fine so try 220-320 and wet sand.

 

depends on how deep it is... if it's just on the lip, you don't have to worry too much about it. since they are black, the rash will show... so if its realy deep, start with a rougher grit like 300 then work up to 1500.
