Anyone heard of this. Some new shit one of the new cable companies here is doing. We're gettin it next weekend. $29 bucks a month, they send you a little box that plugs into your cable modem, and you get Unlimited local/long distance, all the options (caller id, block, voicemail, ect.), or $25 a month and you get unlimited local and 500 minutes long distance per month.

Oh and you can keep your existing number, or have any area code you want.

My buddy has had it for over a year now. Nice and clear but your better off with just a good cell phone plan in the end.

 

yeah i dun really like cell phones. i guess cause i work on the phones every day. don't really like talking to anyone much....cept family, or close friends.

yea i have it also mines called vonage really cheap really good features but right now the system is comptlly debugged once and awhile thing dont work right or the phone acctually lags

 

Yeah thats who my buddy was going through. He just ditched the line because of issues and he switched jobs so he doesn't need that line anymore.
