They are now 2-1...solid game against Australia...things are looking up.

Solid? Sure they won by 10, but they were down by 12 at one point and had to make a run to regain the lead. These games should be blowouts.

i agree with RB

i mean ya they did win, but nothing spectacular. no one will ever compare to the OG dream team, but years ago even the 3rd team all NBA would be spankin' the olympic competition.

Should we be playing better? Yes. Should we be winning by more points? Sure. But you have to remember, USA basketball has a target on its back now. Other countries have NBA stars or players on their teams, and they train together for 4 years as a team just to try and take the USA out. How long has the US team been playing together? Not long. Think of them as the Lakers...individual superstars, but not the greatest teamwork.

And yes, compared to the way they'd been playing, it was a solid game.
