Default need your opinions fast..

A female I work with is having a graduation party today and me and a couple others from my dept got invited. I'm having problems deciding on what to get her as a gift. Would it be bad to just get her a card with $40 cash? I thought about gift cards/certificates but what if she doesn't like the store.

Keep in mind:
-I've known her for a year
-She just bought a house, it's being built now
-She is leaving our company in September to become a Nurse, thats what her degree is in

Ikea is like 2hrs from here. I was thinking about a $40 gift card to Bed, Bad, and Beyond. Would that be better than cash??

yyea im sure she can use it to get something for the house. im not too much against giving cash or GCs if they have a use for it. in this case, she has a newly built house, she is going to have to use it decorate her house...

yea thats true...I was going to stop at BB&B on the way home too but I didn't. Argh! It's 20min from here with traffic in the direction of the party..Now I'll have to go there on my way to the party dressed up, I'm going to look like a fruit. Nothing says ghey more than a nicely dressed male in a Home Decorating store. h:
