So today I meet up with some other IT'er's and go to lunch at TGIF. It was the bombshizzle just like always, plenty of dope chicks working. Anyway, we leave and it's been raining all day from the effects of Tropical Storm Charlie. I was mentioning how I wanted to take the rental mudding since it had a V6 and was 4WD....

my coworker: hell yea, lets go now!! theres a place around the corner that they are about to develop, theres a trail and everything!
me: ehhhhhhh, maybe later
my coworkers: you pussy!
me: fawk it..let's go

So I jump the curb and head into this trail, we go thru like 1/4 mile having lots of fun. I didn't know this place so I decided to turn around since I didn't know when it would end...I bust a 6point turn, yea it's tight and as soon as I get corrected back to the other direction..I hit the gas and nothing. I put it in reverse to back up a bit and kinda rock the vehicle but no luck! h: I was about to shit my pants and those fockers wouldn't stop laughing. It took me a minute to realize the rental didn't have real time 4WD..you had to place it in park, switch over and then throw it in 4WD before it would work. Once I did that, we came right out of the mud pit. Shortly after I get a call from the insurance company saying my Accord was ready for pickup. So after I dropped them off, I went to pick it up and dropped off the mudded out XL7 with the insurance company. :db: Rental vehicles are so much fun.

 

and the point to this story?

Nope. If they did I was gonna say something like "You told me just to bring it back with the same amount of gas as it was given to me, you didn't tell me I had to detail that mofo!"
