I believe you can get them de-smelled...kinda like how you declaw a cat.

 

true, they do stink, you have to clean their litterbox daily. They have a "musky" smell. I had mine in his own bedroom, so it didn't really bother me.

 

we got a couple in arizona and a pair in vegas..

i have a friend who had a ferret.. it had a bad habit of sleeping in the dryer.. needless to say it didn't have the habit for long.. ferret + permanent press cycle on the dryer = a stinking freakin mess:ugh:

 

Yeah you could definetly get them in Arizona. I know cuz my best friends sister works in a pet shop over there. Yes they sell ferrets, I wanted to bring one home but my cat would not get a long with it for sure. If you could go to Arizona that might be your best bet.

Speaking of monkeys, I want a monkey like the one that David Schwimmer had in Friends, that was a cool little monkey, I wish I knew what type of monkey it was.
