To flash and honk at slow drivers on the left/passing lane?

I live in New York and maybe it's just me but a lot of slow drivers like to get to the left/passing lane and go 55mph while those on the right lanes are going 65 to 75. I usually would just change lane and cut them right back (sometimes honk as I cut them right back depending on the situation). If I think they are going really slow and it annoys me I would flash my headlight. Sometimes they would move to the right and let me pass. Sometimes they would just not do anything and stay on the left lane, while everyone (me included) was cutting them off like crazy.

I am just wondering is the local highway still leave the left lane for speedy cars or it doesn't really matter anymore? Is it not said in the driver test manual that left lane is for faster flow of traffic?

 

I flash, honk, give them the finger and then downshift and pass on the right if they don't move. Of course if its heavy traffic I use a bit more patience and don't to those measures,

 

That happened the other day a few miles away from me. Guy swerved in front of another guy. The guy who got cut off got the guy to pull over, got up in the other guys face and attacked him, and got stabbed. He then goes back to his car, grabbes a 9mm and shoes the guy who stabbed him.


I'm not in any hurry to die for flipping someone off.

 

Hmm I do most of the stuffs other than the finger. Just feels that they are wrong, but I don't have to, so I do everything else you mentioned.

 

It's funny how that other driver didn't drive off as soon as he stabbed the other guy who was about to shoe... hmm, shoot, him.

 

 

I wish it was like the autobahn here, as fast as you want in the left lane as long as the road is clear and huge tickets for holding up traffic. If we put some more money into infrastructure and licensing it would be totally possible.

 

How many times will you honk your horn and say, Fcuk you?
Now what the fcuk does that do?
