Default Genelogy Tests

Ok so I was wondering is there a test out their that can determine what race you are? Or what ethnicity you belong too? I was just wondering because I don't fully know what I am because my mom doesn't know what her dad was. A lot of people say I look Mexican or Filipino, I just want to know what the hell I am. The curiosity kills me. As far as I know, I know I'm half black unless my biological father isn't really my biological father but whenever I let my hair grow some of the blackness shows. However when I cut it like it is now very short, people think I'm Mexican or Filipino. I know my Grandma was born in Costa Rica but one of her close relatives was born in like Norway or something like that.

Yes I know I probably spelled geneology wrong. what do u expect my spelling sucks.

you'd have to test your blood to find out what ethnicity you are

I don't mind that I'd rather know what I am then not know. I'll ask my doctor next time I go in for a check up if he has any info on it or anything.

See the thing is my Mom was adopted so she never actually knew her immediate family, so there really is know way to contact them and find out. If she knew what her dad was it maybe a big piece of the puzzle then again it may not be. I think I may go with the blood test thing.

Genealogy is not found out through your blood or a blood test :slap:

You have to research your lineage using your families surnames from both your mother and your fathers side.

You graduated high school....right?

I'm 99% sure even a DNA test could not tell what race you are. Since all humans share 99% of the DNA.
