I drove a Civic through an actual river and it survived, well it wasn't a really deep river but it was deep enough that I had water seeping in through the door sills. I was going down some very narrow dirt roads rally style (sliding around corners and so forth, these were abandoned roads no one ever drove on) and suddenly realized the road had ended, I figured I could either cross the river or go backwards I chose the former because it seemed like a great idea.

Um you'd be really lost if you were walking your doggie around those parts. :chuckles: What was funny was if I had broken down I'd be sol because there was no way to give people directions to the place.

:werd: I was just joshing. Believe it or not, we have some places like that in NY. This huge gravel pit behind some water towers is a great place to practice donuts.
