Welcome!!! Glad you made it! And you're entitled to bitch after all the work you put into it.

Maybe someone on here knows a way to help you get some more out of your current setup. I have a few ideas that I'll PM you... Maybe introduce yourself in the 92+ civic/Del Sol forum .

Might consider stutterboxing to spool the turbo off the line. What's your fuel management?

i think the stutterbox he's referring to is a dual stage rev limiter so it will hold the rpms at a set level (whatever level you determine to be where you want to launch at) so your launches will be good and your turbo will be spooling when you actually start moving. he called it a stutter box cuz thats how they sound.

welcome to HAN btw.

nope the crx is gone .now i have a big ass 4door ..and i tried launching at diff. rpms but ..well this is what will happen...i launch and wheel hop like crazy ..then i take a straight nose dive cuz the turbo isnt spooled ..then it spools and i lose traction and it happens through second too till third gear over and over again then by 3rd its too late for me to make up any lost time ...also im only running 5psi because at higher boost my car makes a wooshing sound repeatedly ..i just changed my plugs and its not missing or anything i just cant figure out what it is ..so to keep it safe i just added alot of fuel in "high boost " mode so i dont have to worry about leaning it out ..but i still never drive it in high boost...by the way thanks for explaing the "stutter boxing " i always call it 2 step

Either name is right... stutterbox or 2-step or 2-stage...

I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record to some people... but have you tried boost leak testing it? If you're losing enough air anywhere after the turbo, your throttle response and spool times will go down the tubes. Technically, none should be lost, but that's difficult given the size of most turbo intake systems. Everything should be sealed up TIGHT!

I know I told you about windoweld at the track for your mounts, but given the amount of time your car would be down (unless you had another set of mounts), I'd go for poly mounts instead. They're actually pretty cheap. Especially if you just use the inserts because you wouldn't have to press out the bushings in the mounts that you already have. Poly motor and tranny mounts help substantially with wheel hop. At least they do with FWD DSMs. I don't know how a FWD Honda would be different, but for $30 a set, it's worth a try.
