Nothing but problems all day long. My Doom would be downloaded by now if this company could get their shit together. All day the damn modem's been going out.

 

Better than Adelphia. We got their cable internet on tuesday, and we've had nothing but problems since. It's slow half the time. Throughout the day, we'll get sent to the Adelphia page to download their software...and we can't get on any web pages. They claim this is due to the firewall on our router, but we aren't taking it off. The service goes off and on, and goes in and out of being fast.

I had the same problem with my local DSL. then we canceled that crappy service and got this. For the most part it's fast, and my ping is usually sub-50 even for CS servers based in texas. but once every so often the service just craps out and I gotta restart the computer, the modem, and all that.

And something is preventing my computer from starting up naturally. I have to ctrl-alt-del to get the thing to finish loading. no idea what that's about. I left tonight at about 8, my DL was at 75% and 2 hours left. I get home, the DL is at 75.1% and the service has halted. I could playing the damn game now
