Finally installed it
P4C 2.8Ghz
gig of DDR400
radeon 9800 Pro 128m
Defualted to medium (640x480). I bumped it up to the next level so I have 800x600 resolution and it seems to run okay, a few little lag/shake though.
Single player is fun but I'd like to meet the idiot who decided that building little openings/hidding spots that blend into the surrounding walls where bad guys could hide was a good idea. It's really freaking dark too, I keep bashing badguys with the flashlight because I forget to swtich back to weapon.
Anybody play the multiplayer yet? I tried every server I try to join is either full (despite being listed as 2/4 3/4) or asks for a password. I couldn't join any servers.

its a little choppy but i think thats due to my weksos internet

damn i cant wait, im stick on vacation and everyone in the states is playing it up with doom hehe thats on my list of things to do when i get back home is buy doom3 and play online. how is the online play? is it good or bad or all slow or some fast?
