That's what I was thinking about watching it around the track--it's too much car for whatever GM has it running on, it seems.

you have to keep in mind they are a little more biased and prefer European cars. especially British cars, and they rank cars based on performance first, quality second, and then price. I agree with their complaint on the suspension the Corvette has, leaf springs? I thought trucks were the only vehicles to still use those.

yep i can usually beat a C5 vette or even a Z06 C5 if they are on the stock 275s or 285s.

But most of them put 275 R compounds up front and 3xx in the rear so they beat me with that setup.

yep and that is where the american car companies will always win.

Damn, talk about tearing a new asshole. I think they're a tad biased. I can't wait for the C6

Ahahah that was funny. "the colonies" :db: Anyway, I was pretty impressed with the performance and keep in mind that for them the car is an import. He said 40,000 pounds, which is about $73,000 for a base Corvette.

Actually, he said 60,000 pounds, which is $109,000. And that's why he calls the 'Vette a bargain. And then continues to criticise the it's interior and "old technology."
