Default comp geeks, veen needs helpage

i want to do two things

on my laptop the "home" key is right next to backspace and i want to disable it because it bugs the hell out of me, anyway i can change it?

also when i close the laptop i get logged off and signed off of AIM, can i do anything about that?

take apart the keyboard and put a small sticker in between one of the ply's of plastic so it doesn't connect electrically when you push the home key.. and for the closing, you'll have to disable the switch.

There could be an easier way, but I don't know it.

about aim, set your computer to not go into sleep mode whenever you close it, that's whats making aim log off. that option should be in CP > Display > Screen Saver > Power Options

re: the button on your keyboard, i dont think you can disable it
