trap will tell the truth.

sounds like my last time at the track. 16.04 in my ex coupe. horrid wheel hop, broke 2 exhaust hinges and shook the face off my deck.

Don't be so hard on yourself, if it makes you feel better the very first time I ran my GS-R was when I hit a 16.2 and lost to a Pinto's 15.1. Practice makes perfect, and drag racing a FWD Honda with no torque isn't the easiest thing in the world.

I know it's me. But I've been meaning to do this upgrade anyway.

only trapping at 88?? i dun think wheels spin was the problem. shouldn't a gsr be trapping around 92-94?

Oh wow. Cut it down to at least 2.3 and you'll hit high 14s-low 15s

Should be able to get that 60' down to the 2.3 range...for every tenth off the 60', take off 2 tenths from the 1/4 et. A new clutch will help, and practice makes perfect. Launching at the track is VERY different than on the street. As for the trap speed, that should be a little higher...90-92 range or so.
