i might be taking a job using it and creating a site for a local school district.. ive never used it before, they gave me a copy to fool around with to see if i could do it.

Are you making an IMS site? I've never used MapGuide before, but I am a GIS Specialist and I'm very familiar with ESRI products which is the most popular software suite for geographic information. What is the objective of your project? Theres a lot of "startup" stuff to learn...have you used CADD at all before?

 

i really have no idea. im not that big on this stuff, ive used cad a lot, but not this program. i didnt think they were going to want me to use mapguide, i thought i was just going to be updating floor plans on autocad, but i guess not.
