Default P2 slot one processor ===> P3 slot one processor?

I found a P2 CPU in trash. Everyone is moving out around here, and throwing stuff away. Anyway, its an old P2 350 slot 1 processor. I want to toss in a 750 mgz slot 1, but I don't know if it will fit.

Slot 1 is 500 miles away, and I don't want to lug the PC home if I don't have to.

The computer works just fine, needs a new cd player, but it'll be fine. I want to fix it up and give it to my sister for her birthday. Her husband and she only have an old 233 mhz from like 199x with windows 9x on it and its never been reformated.... its slower than mollasis (sp?) on a cold day.

Anyone have an old cd player or PC100/133 ram they want to give away?

Won't work. Chipsets won't be compatible.

P2 = i440LX/BX

P3 = i440BX (early ones), i800's
