ok, im a bit too lazy to do some researching for this...so i thought i was ask here. i was never really good with hard sciences, but can you check if this is true? i have to do a presentation with boiling water in a vacuum chamber tomorrow. h:
when heat is applied to solid water, it melts and turns into liquid water. if heat is applied to liquid water, it turns into water vapor (evaporate). if enough heat is applied to liquid water, so that the pressure of the vapors is the same as the air pressure around the water, it is called boiling.
h: if there is an easier way to explain this...holla.

in the vacuum chamber, the water boils at room temp... im learning while im teaching. h:
