there any "ricers" in here?

I'd love to do some road course stuff.
The way I see it... drag racing is for people with lots of power but dont know how to use a steering wheel.
Autocrossing is fun, until little 12 year old kids in go karts go out there and rape your best time of the day and make you and your 300 hp feel like shit.
seems like a road course would be the best of both worlds
i'd love to run that track they have in the Top Gear videos, just to see what kind of times my car would put up against all those other cars.

and at the last autocross event i went to (which is admittedly way more about handling than about power), the best time of the day went to a LT1 camaro with the ttops off. and the corvettes were doing really well as well, beating most of the miatas, jettas, and WRX's. I was surprised.

Hold it, a 346 cubic foot V8? :chuckles: hahaha...That's damned huge.

If you're for the response of "ricers" - as in the bodykit, fart cannon & aluminum wing crowd - you have come to wrong board.
It is that simple.
HAN does not pander to the "all show, no go" crowd.
Take a look through our model forums and you'll see that the majority of members here are spending their hard-earned on forced induction, suspension and other performance improvements, not on chopper-gun fibreglass bodykits.

Check out the appearance section....you really won't see many (any) aluminum wings, fartcans, altezzas, etc. Thats not the type of typical member you have around here. Half the people that replied to this thread don't even own Hondas. Most people around here have very open minds towards cars, no matter who makes them.
