Probably not. They were pretty easy requests to block once they knew what the problem is. The worm is still out there TRYING to beat the hell out of google and yahoo but they were both able to sucessfully block the info from the worm before it even reaches their networks now.

Besides, that worm only effects the search portion of teh website... this is the e-mail portion.

 

ahh, cool. I read about it earlier this week and it sounded like a nasty worm and I thought it could be that.

 

Yea, it's a nasty worm. It's a great idea for getting work done that has been used for bad purposes. And honestly it might still affect things, I don't know 100%... but I know what they COULD be doing to stop it.

I wish I came up with the idea for worms/DDoS stuff like that.
