I sold:
an XServe, 4 dual-G5's, a G4 laptop, a firewall, a big UPS, a gigabit switch, full network management contract and a long-term support agreement to a new client today. Their IT costs are about to be cut into a third of what they were.

I'm up to 6 clients now. If I can get the rest of them to bite on the same hardware, I'll be able to work from home 95% of the time. Getting laid off was the best thing to ever happen to me because it voided my non-compete agreement.

Life is good. Anyone else have a good day? It's a waxing moon tonight. I can't believe the clouds broke long enough to see it.

my day at work sucked
the head guy changed the whole schedule without telling anyone and I lost 8 hours :madfawk:

 

My day was par, at best. I was sent out to the most distant branch in our sector...An hour drive and I had no clue where it was. On the upside, I left two hours early and still got paid for a full day's work because I own them
