How about having them find someone else's mazda 3, blow it up in a week, find another 3, blow that up too, then on the 3rd mazda 3 it works fine, and you can be the 4th mazda 3 to have the turbo? how's that?

If a reputable shop is doing the work, then yes. Do it.

I'd jump at teh chance.

Yeah, what happens if they mess around with it and blow up your engine? Are you SOL or do they replace the engine?

and i would make them sign something stating they would pay for any problems they cause while testing.

then I'd definately say do it. you'll proably have the first boosted 3 in the states. so they'll do the turbo, will they also do your exhaust system as well?

I don't know if I'd personally want to be a guinea pig for the reasons everyone stated. Plus, your waranty is going to go out the window.

nah, not the exhaust. just the turbo kit.

and i've thought of the warranty thing too. but it's only good for 48,000 miles, and at the rate i'm driving, i'll be there in about about a year. plus i've only heard of people having problems with the body and not with the engine, and the turbo wouldn't voud the warranty on the body/suspension issues.

Will they still do it under those terms?

What kind of body/suspension issues are people having with their 3's?

i won't do it if they don't agree to those terms.

and problems have been small rattles, a clunk in the rear suspension when you have passengers, etc. problems i have that the dealer says aren't problems are my driver's side mirror vibrates alot, and my clutch clicks. but that's about it.
