i remember when that was selling in stores for $40 brand new. few months after SNES came out.

I have that, as well.
Plus SNES, Genesis, Sega Master System, Game Boy/GBC/GBA, Colecovision, Arcade (MAME-X, which I don't have any games for yet).

Um, no. I love Sony, I just think the PS2 is crap. I loved the Playstation. And I'm not on Nintendo's nuts, I think the N64 would've been completely worthless if not for the 4 AAA games that it had.
My point is, it doesn't matter how technologically advanced a system is, it's the games that count, and NES has some of the best games ever.

I could not see the point in paying that much for a old NES. I rather put the money in my car.

I think I will stick with my PS2 no point in going backwards
