do you have any way to back this up? I'd just like to see some proof of this.

Well, not every game, but the vast majority.

Yeah I have played all.....umm....what 60 titles for he GC and there is nothing really spectacular.

Closest I saw was the RE that come out for it but it really wasn't that special because everywhere your character moved was on a prerendered path which means even those really cool reflections were mapped out and there was no free roam with any other possibilities.

I enjoy my GC but it was a waste of money in the end.

As for the new NES handheld...meh ....overpriced and underfeatured.

I think the PS2 was a waste of money. And if you're not impressed by the graphics on Metroid Prime, then I don't know what to tell you. It's pretty much the prettiest game so far this generation.

As for the DS, they haven't announced a price, and it'll probably cost less than half what the PSP will cost. As for features...it's a videogame system, it plays videogames...that's the only feature it needs.

The DS isn't lacking any useful feature that the PSP has. Unless you count playing video/audio on the PSP...which can only be accomplished by buying whatever movie/music you want in UMD format (since UMD burners and blank UMD's will not be available to the public).

But unfortunately, you're right. The majority of people that play video games nowadays are just casual gamers who only buy what's considered "cool" by the mainstream.
