What you think.... I signed up for it and I enjoyed it at first when we played. First time playing it being a Junior in highschool now and we have m-w-f work-outs which are not bad at all. But im wondering if I should even play. Ive been thinking in order for me to have a 3.3 GPA for all 4 years I need a 4.0 my next two years. But I really want to play and kinda scared to quit. Did any of you guys play? I will probably be a linemen guard and linebacker.

 

i played had a 4.0 and was in honors classes but busted my ass off for four years your call really how devoted are you to higher learning or sports or both? oh and if you have a gf kiss ur life away

 

if anything itll help your gpa IMO. you have so much friggin free time in high school, you need to have something to do. otherwise you'll just procrastinate like crazy. i know, cause thats what i did.

 

I played freshman and sophmore year and there's no way in hell I'm playing again this year.

I get better grades when I'm not doing sports.

 

I was asked to play on the team, but I chose to work and make money instead.

 

I had 7 varsity letters in HS and graduated 5th in my class. HS was easy. I was poor though, only worked on some weekends and in the summer :happysad:

 

No, because I never understood the point of football.

 

I played junior and sophmore because the coach asked me to, and I hated it after that, because my HS sucked.

eh, my gpa is shit, and i play football and lacrosse.

during the summer, we have mon, tues, and thurs workouts and practice. fun as hell. outside linebacker and tight end. i'm like 10th string tight end though :chuckles:

 

If you really want to play, then play. You can still get good grades while playing.
