hello,

i bought a SI cluster for my civic..but the si cluster only has 30k miles and my car has 60k miles! is there any way i can roll the miles ahead so i can match up the milage?

BTW, it's illegal but you can do it by just slowly and carefully turning the the gears. I say f't though :dunno:

or you could swap out the odometers but thats also illegal

hows it illegal if put the SAME amount of miles on the new cluster? i see ppl with SI clusters in regular civics all the time

just install it like it is you wuss . But be honest when you re-sell or have an inspection. Its kinda like installing a new motor with less miles...you don't turn back the od h:

well that doesn't make a damn bit of sense. What if there was something wrong with the old one. can't be illegal to fix your own car and not have the odo read false miles.

Just swap the speedo over, which includes the odometer. I dunno if it's technically illegal, but who's gonna know the difference?
