I have a drinking problem.... I'll admit it. I've had it for years. You see, when I get thirsty, I drink water. I lot of it too. The server at Steak&Shake nicknamed me "Tank" as in water tank, after I had a milkshake, a couplel orange sodas, a numerous glasses of water all in a 30 minute time period while with some friends

This is just one example. Its all the time, just can't help it. If I get a diet pepsi to drink in class, It's usually gone in a mater of 5-10 minutes. I go out to refill it at the fountain so I have some water to drink... That too is gone in a matter of minutes.

When going to a restraunt, I'll normally order a water, and a diet soda, because I know I'll drink both before a normal person would drink 1/2 of a glass of either. I've had servers bring me 2-3 glasses at a time to try and hold me over between their visits.

Beyond that though, my drinking problem really makes me have to pee a lot. I go to the restroom at least once every 2-3 hours. Today, I've gone at least 10 times since I've been awake.


What can I do!?

hey, atleast it's not beer. i drink ALOT too. i buy 4-5 32-44oz sodas a day (only diet now), and i drink alot of milk and water. but i don't have to piss very often.
i think i have a supa bladder from when i used to hold it for loooong periods of time..

 

At least 4-5... in a 30 minute period.

If im there with friends, and we're just chillin, it may be more, much more.

 

hmm...Well jon, theres nothing wrong with drinking water all the time. As long as you don't cause pain on your stomach or bladder, then i wouldnt really worry about it. BTw, do u piss a lot to get rid of all this fluid? or does it usually stay in ya more?

 

you'd think going to college would make habits worse, i don't drink soda anymore, don't really have a reason why, and i never used to drink water, but i drink at least a gallon a day, probably closer to 2 gallons.. and now i eat healthier too :eek3:

I usually drink 2-3 liters of water a day.

 

i'm the same way...with my beer.

but while at a restaurant i drink like a fish, be it beer or soda. when i have my fridge stocked with Turkey Hill Green Tea gallons, I'll drink a gallon/day. i piss like 17-20 times a day then.
