On my way back from lunch, I got pulled over for running a red light (I was guilty :happysad: ). The cop also was giving my a citation for not having my license on me (oops h: ) and modified exhaust (:doh: ).

Then she saw my Sunnyside Acura shirt, and said "Sunnyside Acura? Do you know my brother Dan?"

"Uh..." :looks at nametag:

"Yeah, Dan Constant, the tech."

"I'm his sister."

"Ah okay, yeah yeah..."

"I'm going to let you go, say hi to Dan for me."

That could have potentially sucked. She was ready to throw the book at me. :happysad: If I was cited for all of the above, I would have lost my job due to them not being able to insure me anymore. :nervous:

Then I went and adjusted my base idle and did my secondary ignition components, then went home. h:

End of day.

I don't consider myself stupid. I wasn't delibrately running the redlight and realized too late that I was pushing the limit. There just so happened to be a cop behind me. People do it all the time, and it was an honest mistake. I admit that I was at fault.

My license went AWOL 4 days ago and it's being replaced Thursday.
