well it's either because the hardware crapped out or is crapping out or because something in the tcp/ip stack isn't happy...

try to remove tcp/ip from your notebook, then reinstall

open a cmd prompt and try this string: netsh int ip reset reset.txt
then reboot
Might look like its frozen for a min... but give it a sec and it'll do it's shizzle.

i ran lsp and it didnt work
then i reinstalled tcpip and it did the trick
