yep, when i was a kid, i used the calamine lotion, but i don't remember it helping. right now i'm using band-aid anti-itch gel. so far so good. at the moment i don't feel any itchiness. i just have to reapply it every so often, so i'm keeping the tube right next to me until it all goes away.

i think i did read something about oatmeal before.

i've also made an appt. with my doctor (wed.) in case it gets worse.

i remember once when i was a kid, i had it so bad on my hands, i had to keep them wrapped because they kept oozing, and it looked disgusting.

I've had it numerous times because my skin is very sensitive. I last got it about 3-4months ago when helping out around a friends yard. I used calamine lotion, cortisone (sp), and no luck at all. It relieved the itch just slightly but I it spread all over my body. I ended up going to the doctor and they put me on a steroid used to fight bacteria.

I had it two weeks ago from working in my back yard. That crap was horrible. Luckily for me, my roommate had it before that, so he had already gotten the prescription steroid cream stuff. My strategy was to itch the mess out of those things, get them oozing and squeeze all the goo out of them that I could. I figured it was bad stuff and needed to get out. Then when the itching got too bad I would put on the cream stuff. It seemed to work because I don't have it anymore and all of the little spots and stuff are fading.
