super tech oil??
I am writing to try and clear up what seems to be a common misconception.Warren Oil Company of North Carolina does not make SuperTech oil.Warren Oil Co. did buy out Coastal Unilube and the company is now Warren Unilube. Coastal Unilube is the supplier of Advance Auto Parts house brand motor oil. SuperTech oil is a product of Warren Distribution/Warren Performance Products of Nebraska. Warren Dist./WPP are also the makers of the Mag1 and Polar brands.Warren Oil and Warren Dist./WPP are not the same company and are not associated in any way. They are 2 different companies altogether. This is a response from Warren Dist./WPP:"Yes we are one of the manufacturers of Super Tech. We are Warren
Distribution and have no affiliation with the company Warren Oil. Our
headquarters is in Omaha and the headquarters for Warren Oil is Dunn,
NC. To my knowledge, Warren Oil is not a manufacturer of any Super Tech
products." As I stated,it seems that many people are misinformed about the manufacturer of SuperTech oil, this should clear up any confusion.

after further investigation it depends on the part of the country you live in.
Super Tech is a TM name that belongs to Wal Mart and they use whatever oil maker depending on which part of the country they are located in.
makes sense why haul tons of oil across the country when you can get it at a local supplier.

i thought it would be made by one of the major companies (mobil, penz, stp, etc) considering that their oil filters are made by champion labs (or at least they are in my size filter). champ labs make my oem filters:goodjob:

the other maker is Quaker State. But those are the only 2 that have been identified so far. If you check the bottom of the bottle, it should have the logo of the maker.

If that's the case, I think I'll just stick with mobil dino. I just got a Scam's Club membership and when when you buy the case, it comes out to about a dollar a bottle. Supertech isn't much cheaper than that. :dunno:
