Default computer n3rds check in.

i bought a laptop
P4 2.8, 256 mb ram(pc2700 333mhz). I want to upgrade the ram to 512mb. Another 256 pc2700 will cost me around $60. Is it worth it to upgrade? How much more performance gain will there be?

Go for it. You'll notice the difference, mostly because your apps won't be swapping data to the hard drive so often. Data access from RAM is much faster than from the hard drive.
