Do you mean box or actually trying to make your own subwoofer?

never heard that one before. im sure its possible, but considering that all modern speakers use weird rubbers or whatever instead of paper, i think it will be hard to make a decent one. i recommend you just get a job and buy one. if you decide to really give it a go let me know how you plan to do it cause im curious.

Well building a box is pretty simple.... however unless you have a degree in engineering and speaker design... I'd say building the actual subwoofer speaker to be something best left to a manufacturing company.

There's two parts to the "subwoofers" on that page... the box and the speaker.

Building a box ain't no thang. But actually builind a speaker (or subwoofer) is something not really able to be done by a DIY.

The speaker is the subwoofer. A box is just a box. Yea there's diffrent types of boxes, but they are still just boxes. The speaker that goes in the box is actually the subwoofer. Slight mixup of words there.

just make sure you use spacing within specs for the subs and high quality wood. I'm going to go buy the wood this week to make a custom box for my car. I want to fit the box snug against my rear seats, which will hold two 10's :grinpimp:
