The Mozilla Foundation has announced a "shell" protocol security vulnerability, affecting its browsers running on the Windows operating system.

The Mozilla security team reported that the flaw impacts the company's Mozilla application suite, and Firefox and Thunderbird products. The problem does not affect Linux (news - web sites) or Macintosh (news - web sites) users.

Looks more like it was a Microsoft API problem than a Mozilla problem Even still... the Mozilla Firefox team had a fixed version almost as fast as the story broke, so no harm done really.
